Four steps to an exclusive, custom-designed gown, suit, or jacket. We can do just about anything:
Usually this is a process that takes between three to four months from the first appointment up to the finished dress. Even though the time depends on the complexity of the design, our delivery time is very similar to those of-the-rack gowns.
The designer will guide you to through the process and will let you know before the "point of no return." During the process, you can usually change the neckline, decide on different appliqués, adjust the hem, length, etc.
Appointments are recommended; you can stop in while we are in the studio Tuesdays and Wednesdays after 4 p.m. or Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., but we might be in an appointment!
You first appointment usually takes 1 to 1-1⁄2 hours. Some of the basic sketches will be made at this appointment, as well as a brief conversation and style analysis with the designer to establish what you want, what you need and what fits you the best.
This is the best part of the process. When your dress arrives from our manufacturing facility, it is made to your measurements. Any alterations needed were already made during the fitting and construction process. So, unless you had a dramatic weight change,no alterations are needed but in the event that you do need an alteration, we take care of it for you.
Unfortunately, we do not.
What we make is couture and couture technically means "made to measure." Our clothing is not only designed and built to fit your body type but is also designed to fit your budget. That is why an important part of your meeting with the designer is to establish a price range for your dress, suit, etc. Different fabrics, finishes and techniques allow us to reach different price points even in similar designs. We design and make clothing for your budget.
